A Capital Sign
A standout mobile red-white-and-blue billboard bearing the Foundation’s message, “Keep Religion OUT of Politics,” roved downtown St. Paul in early September, to coincide with the National Republican Convention. The same image was on a billboard in downtown Denver at the time of the Democratic convention. The timely admonition was made possible thanks to the generosity of a Foundation member.

A Capital Message
Tom Riddering, George Kane and Bjorn Watland are pictured in front of the Freedom From Religion Foundation’s first mobile billboard, which circulated within a few blocks of the Republican National Convention in St. Paul, Minn., in early September. Reports Foundation member Jerry Rauser, who took the photograph: “The truck driver, Winston, was very helpful. He played the audio, which was very well done.”
FFRF’s Phoenix Billboard Blitz

An “Imagine No Religion” billboard went up on Sept 19 in downtown Harrisburg, Penn. The location is South 2nd St. at Mulberry St., near Harrisburg Hospital, only 7 blocks from the Pennsylvania State Capitol. Thanks to Foundation member Carl Silverman for scouting out the location and to Capital Area Pennsylvania Nonbelievers for contributing toward the billboard, which captured a page-one story in the Harrisburg Patriot News and two TV news stories.
