FFRF's Winter Solstice Display Educates Visitors at Wisconsin Capitol for 13th Year

Pictured by the Freedom From Religion Foundation's annual winter solstice display at the Wisconsin State Capitol in Madison are: Phyllis Rose, a Foundation officer and 3-afternoons-a-week volunteer, Dan Barker and Annie Laurie Gaylor, Foundation co-presidents. The sign, whose message was penned by Foundation president emerita Anne Gaylor, was erected following many state/church skirmishes at the Capitol. This year it was was surrounded by at least three religious signs, including one citing scripture which labels atheists "fools."
