Tips on Flying into Orlando
Don't delay in booking your flight for the Orlando convention!
You are competing for plane seats and flights to Orlando, which are filling up extra-fast this fall because many conventions that were booked for New Orleans have rescheduled for Orlando.
Here are some tips. Check directly with Southwest Airlines online (if it serves your area). They do not advertise with Travelocity or Expedia or the other dot-coms. They offer prices as "one-way deals," but do offer round-trip solutions also. (And it is wise to double-check with an airline directly before booking with the dot-coms, just to be sure you are getting the best rate.) A small airline not to be overlooked is Airtran.
"Sales" for airlines typically happen midweek, so watch websites on Tuesdays through Thursdays for deals which are snatched up quickly. (Weekend planners may get leftovers.)
The airport to fly into is Orlando International Airport (MCO), which is 10 minutes away from the Rosen Plaza Hotel.
